The helicopter carrying president Ebrahim Raisi and His Foreign Minister Hossein Amir has crushed.

The helicopter  carrying the two and other state officers  crushed after getting difficulties in heavy fog in the  north of the country. The convoy was of 3 helicopters of which the other two landed safely in Northwest city of Tabriz.

The accident happened in the mountainous protected forest area of Dizmar near the town of Varzaghan, according to the official IRNA news agency.

According the Iranian Constitution, the vice president Mohmmad Mokhber will take over presidential responsibilities and elections will be arranged with 50 days.
